Samarth Gupta

Samarth has 4 years of experience in the Fintech industry. As a Senior Consultant for FinMechanics, a B2B startup, he was involved in building platforms and delivering turnkey projects for the Treasury and Risk verticals of several Financial Institutions in India such as Kotak, IDFC, ICICI, Yes Bank & Edelweiss before heading to Dubai for business expansion in the Middle East.

He holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and is an alumnus of BITS Pilani. He is also a GARP certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

At Prime, he is part of the investment team, actively involved in scouting and evaluating new startups as well as assisting the startups in our portfolio with their business and growth.

When he is not drawing up financial models or exploring new tech, he enjoys playing guitar, loves exploring different genres of music and recently started dabbling in music production as well. He is also a travel enthusiast, having travelled to 15+ countries so far with many more on his bucket list.
